How the research works
Useful context, with its limits in view.
Loan Land is a lending research assistant for questions that do not fit neatly into a bank FAQ. It provides general information about Australian lending policy, not an assessment of your eligibility or a promise of approval.
Sources matter
AI-assisted answers draw on lender-policy research and relevant source material. Private policy documents are used as background research, not published as articles or downloads. Source cards identify the material used and link to public references where available. Research dates show when the source information was supplied, not a guarantee that a lender’s policy is unchanged.
Drafts are not articles
Potential new answers remain private drafts. Automated checks can help identify issues, but they do not replace a human review. Drafts are not made public until a reviewer approves them. Similar questions may be merged into an existing answer rather than published as another page.
Policy changes and personal circumstances
Lender policy changes, and a lender’s decision depends on the full application, property, documents and current criteria. Treat a summary as a starting point. For guidance about your circumstances, use the broker enquiry form.
Authorship and review
Author and reviewer details are shown on published answers where provided. Chat summaries are generated by AI and may contain errors; they are not a substitute for a broker’s assessment of your circumstances.
